This is about an English travel jazz set out of the 20s. Curious is the head being tighted on one side on this flat and so called ‘Gong Bass' bass drum. The snare drum is not placed on a stand, but it is fixed at the hoop of the bass drum. This set was provided with a contemporary modern Chinese cymbal, a wood drum and such a type of a foot pedal, whose steel brush could sound a cymbal at the same time.
